CSAOM AT THE CAPITOL!

WHEN?

CSAOM has arranged with the Governor's office to re-dedicate October 24th 2007 as "Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day" for Connecticut. This is your day, to join us at the Capitol in Hartford to educate legislators about the quality acupuncture and oriental medicine we provide.

WHY?

As L.Ac.'s, we provide & promote the best quality acupuncture and oriental medicine, under the rigorous certification standards of the NCCAOM. Many of our legislators don't know about NCCAOM certification and the value it provides to our patients, their constituents.

WHO?

At the legislature, it's the Public Health Committee that leads medical practice lawmaking, and can help us promote NCCAOM standards for all acupuncture practiced in Connecticut. Committee members are listed on the attachment. Do you or one of your patients live in their district? Who better to meet them in person on "Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day", and introduce them to the issue?

HOW?

Check the Committee for you or your patient's Representative or Senator. Call to arrange a brief in-person hello at their Capitol office or in the district on October 24th. (see a complete list here) Tell them who you are, why you practice, and how important NCCAOM standards are for providing the best quality acupuncture and oriental medicine to patients.
